The Nissan Skyline is a car first manufactured by the Prince Motor Company in 1957 and subsequently by Nissan after the two businesses joined in 1967. Shinichiro Sakurai developed and engineered the Skyline from the start, and he remained a major influence on the car until he died in 2011.
