This toy is based on the famous classic 1980s video game Asteroids. The objective is to destroy asteroids and enemy UFOs by shooting at them. The controls on this mini video game are based on the original arcade but are miniaturised, so that is it portable and can easily be carried around by you. Your ship is always at the centre in this video game while your enemies come at your ship from all directions. But unlike the original, your ship is represented by 8 triangles in 8 directions, with the lit-up triangle representing where your ship is pointing at, and only 1 will be it up at any time. Take evasive action if you cannot destroy the asteroid or enemy aircraft flying and shooting at you. The game's graphics are fundamental, just like the original arcade game, and is only in black background with your ship, its shots, the enemies and their shots in lit-up 1 colour. This toy requires 2 AA batteries which are included. Suitable for ages 8 years and up.
