AZUL is a tile-placement game designed by Michael Riesling. It is a board game which requires to compete for the highest score by claiming the tiles and arranging them in a way that you score higher than your opponents. It is a 2-4 player game with brightly coloured tiles which must be placed on top of the corresponding design on the board. As the board fills up, the competition grows, and all players try to get the best tiles to win the game. The story of the game is that you and all the players are laying out the tiles for the walls of the Royal Palace of Dvora. The idea is to find the right number of tiles and the correct patterns to ensure the wall is embellished correctly. An instruction guide in the box will explain details of how to play the game. The box includes 100 resin tiles, 4 player boards, 9 factory displays, 4 scoring markers, 1 starting player marker, 1 linen bag to store all the tiles, and 1 rulebook. Approximate playtime is between 30 and 45 minutes. It is recommended for players over 8 years old.
