This book is a funny story about a koala named Warren. Despite his cute figure, this koala seems to be in a bad mood. He keeps saying, "Don't call me, bear." Warren is just sooooooo tired of being called a bear. He is funny and furry, but he is not a bear, or so he says. He blames it on Captain Cook who first discovered koalas. Warren then gives a lesson about koalas being marsupials and even provides examples of other animals that are marsupials too. What a funny koala- he must have done a lot of research about bears to prove that he is not one. He knows that there are bears in Canada, USA, and polar regions, but none in Australia. He has a point about a platypus. It looks like a duck, but we do not call it a duck. Warren has had enough of it and does not want to be called a bear. Will he finally get what he wants? This story and illustration by Aaron Blabey will be your next favourite funny bedtime story.
