The Mazda RX7 (also known as the Savanna RX7) is a Japanese passenger sports automobile debuted in 1978. Its serial production began the same year and ran until 2002, with around 810,000 automobiles produced. The majority of the production took place in Hiroshima, Japan. The RX7 model was designed and put into serial production to enhance Mazda Motor Corporation's business offering and replace the RX3 model. The new car differs from its predecessor in several ways. To begin with, the body and passenger compartment were radically different in appearance. Other power units were also employed, albeit they were still made in a Wankel arrangement, which is rare. The aerodynamic qualities have been improved as well. The RX7 was a model that lasted through three generations of manufacturing. It was available in various body styles, including a 2-door coupe and a 2-door convertible. The RX8 model was introduced to replace the company's previous offering.
