The GT-R V-Spec is a high-spec vehicle that debuted as an option pack for the R32 GT-R in February 1993. It garnered popularity since it came standard with Brembo brakes and 17-inch BBS wheels. The R33 GT-R (introduced in January 1995) became the official platform for Group-N racing cars, with ATTESA PRO added to the drive system. Nissan's SKYLINE GT-R V standard (R33) '95 is a road car. Except for Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec and Gran Turismo Sport, it appears in every major Gran Turismo game. Many questioned if the R33 could live up to the R32's incredible performance; however, it not only fulfilled but beyond everyone's expectations, as evidenced by a television commercial titled "Minus 21-second Dream."
