The Italeri 1:35 scale DUKW Amphibious Truck model kit replicates one of World War II's most adaptable transport vehicles. Equipped with a 4,400 cm³ 6-cylinder engine and a welded, rib-reinforced hull, this 6x6 amphibious truck, based on the General Motors CCKW-353, played a crucial role in moving troops and supplies from ships to shore.

Extensively used by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, and Allied forces, the DUKW was vital in major amphibious landings. It proved its reliability in key operations, including D-Day at Utah and Omaha beaches, as well as campaigns in Salerno, Anzio, and the Pacific.

This kit commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings and comes with a new decal sheet that has 4 variations. It is part of the D-Day Eighty Series.
