The Italeri 1:72 Me-410 A-1 Hornisse model kit represents a significant evolution of the Me-210, developed as a twin-engine heavy fighter for the Luftwaffe. It was powered by 2 Daimler-Benz DB603 engines, replacing the older Bf-110 aircraft.
Heavily armed with four 20mm Mauser cannons, two 7.92mm machine guns, and two remotely controlled MG 131s, the Me-410 was designed for various operational roles. Its payload capacity of over 500 kg allowed it to perform bombing and tactical support missions.
The Me-410, which was first used by Luftwaffe squadrons in mid-1943, saw action on various fronts, including Italy, the Balkans, and the Eastern Front. This model kit provides an authentic replica of a crucial WWII aircraft, making it suitable for both collectors and enthusiasts.
