With the Magformers 62 Piece Set, kids can use colourful magnetic pieces to design and build hundreds of creative structures in a real 3-D build. The pieces in this set come in three shapes: pentagon, square, and triangle. The pieces attach together on any side using magnets that are built in all of the build pieces. The instructions show kids how to build 18 different structures. First, you start by placing the shapes on a flat surface and connecting them per the instructions. Then slowly lift up the flat model and watch the shapes automatically connect to each other to create a 3-D model. It is very cool to watch the shape from a 2-D initial build to a 3-D model when you lift them off the surface. The magnets used are very strong and allow kids to build structures that are sturdy and stable. Your kids will have fun constructing models per the instructions or get creative and learn to build structures of their own. Suitable for ages 3 years and up.
