When Erno Rubik built the first version of Rubik's cube back in 1974, perhaps even he couldn't have predicted how it would become a permanent feature of the toys section worldwide. He aptly named it the magic cube at first, because the mathematical application and reasoning needed to solve the cube seem magical! Since then, it has been continuously evolving. The Rubiks Orbit is an exciting new take on the Rubik's cube. As its name suggests, it isn't shaped like a cube. The orb has 6 coloured sides and 360 rings. The objective remains the same as with the original-the puzzler trying to solve the orbit needs to try various combinations through trial and error to finally obtain a matching colour for the rings throughout the puzzle. Twisting and turning is the only way that can be achieved, so keep at it until the goal is reached! Anyone above the age of 8 can attempt the puzzle.
