The Knabstruppers is a breed of horse from Denmark and is characterised by unconventional colour patterns with dots resembling the dalmatian dog breed. Their history arose during the Napoleonic Wars when Spanish troops were despatched to Denmark and brought their horses which mated with the local horse to produce this breed. This breed was named after the estate it was bred from. The Knabstruppers breed is large-framed horses with well-balanced physiques and expressive faces. This breed is well-liked due to their friendly and high-spirited disposition, in addition to having good manners and being docile. This Schleich Horse Knapstrupper Stallion is a scaled-down model that is replicated from the real animal.
