The Texas Longhorn Cattle is a breed of cow from the United States of America known for its long horns extending from 6 feet to 8 feet from tip to tip for a fully grown adult cow. The Texas Longhorn breed originates from the cattle that were brought into the USA by Spanish colonialists and settlers in the Texas area over 500 years ago. This cattle breed is popular as a livestock breed because they have hardy characteristics and are very tolerant of drought-stressed conditions. The Texas Longhorn cattle are mostly bred for their meat, but a small number are kept for show. This Schleich Cow Texas Longhorn Calf is a scaled-down replica model of the calf of the Texas Longhorn cattle. As it is not an adult, it does not have any horns yet. This model replica is made from safe and non-toxic plastic materials that are also sturdy for durability and can stand on their own. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
