Humans fear sharks because they have been misunderstood as indiscriminate predators that hunt and eat everything that crosses their path in the sea, including human beings. Furthermore, sharks have an array of very sharp teeth that makes them all the more fearsome to us. This is a misplaced belief because sharks rarely ever venture into the shallow waters of the beaches to attack humans, as depicted in popular culture. In fact, the reported shark attacks are rare and isolated incidents where the shark accidentally encountered a human and was panicked into attack as a self-defence move. Sharks are predators, but they feed on other fish and sea creatures such as turtles. This 48-piece puzzle shows the ocean creatures in the sea with the predator shark in the foreground. The pieces for this puzzle are durable as they are made out of wood and would last a long time. The completed puzzle measures 30cm by 24 cm. Suitable for ages 5 years and up.
