Shopping: COVID Style

Let's be honest, it's been a tough 18 months. Limited movement, no travel and worst of all, not being able to see friends & family. Now for most of NSW, we now face another hurdle. The vast majority of retail stores are now closed. They've taken away our retail therapy! 

This has impacted several of the Casey's Toys stores and as an employer of over 150 staff, and a huge loyal customer base - we wanted to minimise this impact to our staff & customers as best we could.

Some of our stores remain open (click here for details), but for those that are not, we've outlined other ways of shopping that will keep you safe, get you the things you need in lockdown - and keep that retail therapy going!

Call & Collect

Is that like Click & Collect? Yes - but with the benefit of service over the phone!

All stores routinely take Call & Collect orders and have done so pre-Covid. Simply call your local store and speak to a team member who can serve you over the phone. Once you've made your selection, you can pay over the phone & then collect your order at your leisure. Not sure what you are looking for - not to worry. Our staff are on hand to talk you through your options over the phone. Where possible you can view items on the website so you know exactly what you are 'looking' at.

This is a perfect option for parents who are WFH (Working From Home) & need just a few little things to entice the kiddies to finish their school work. Make the call, pop to the store & have your items in as little as 5 mins!

Online Shopping

Online shopping is now as common as face to face retail. It is WAY too easy, convenient & now more than ever it is safe. Now many of us that never thought/wanted to do our groceries online, have since made the transition and will likely never go back. Online is particularly great if you are run off your feet all day and cannot make it in for a Call & Collect. Order at any time of the day, whenever you can spare the time.

Now, you can never replace in store shopping. The face to face service you get, questions you can ask & the social enjoyment of browsing & speaking to one of our expert staff is what makes us the preferred toy store. However, in this period of uncertainty, it is an easy & safe way to get the items you need, while shopping from the comfort of home. Or let's be honest - car, bed, bathroom ...

Our website (www.caseystoys.com.au) has thousands of toys, games, puzzles, hobby items, art & craft items & more. You can browse to your hearts content, pop a few things in the cart, pay & bam! The items will be delivered straight to your door. 

Store to Door

On occasion, there are items available in store that are not online. That's okay, we have a solution for this too! We call it Store to Door. And you guessed it - you pay at the store and it gets delivered ... to your door!

Simply call the store that is showing availability of stock, they will quote you postage, pay over the phone and it will be shipped straight to you. So easy!

All of the above options are available in Bathurst, Brookvale, Campbelltown, Castle Hill, Charlestown, Erina, Maitland, Narellan, Tuggerah & Wollongong.

So - you can see we have a solution to all buying needs while the NSW Health Restrictions remain in place. These options are also available year round so you may never need to set foot in the store again! Although - please do! We can't wait to see all of our loyal customers back in stores again soon!
