- Rhythmic Gymnastics: Wow the judges with your gold winning performance using hoop, ball, rope or the gorgeous rainbow Twirling Ribbon Stick from Casey's Toys.
- Kicking Challenge: Set up the Franklin Blackhawk Pop Up Soccer Goal and see who can kick the most balls in a given time.
- Trampoline Gymnastics: Perform your best tricks and jumps on the Plum Junior Springsafe Trampoline. Judges (family members) can score each performance.
- Water Slide Race: Set up the Wahu Aqua Glider and race to the end. The fastest time wins!
- Car Race: Use the LEGO City Green Race Car and Scalex43 Super Loop Thriller Slot Car Set to set up some car races or a racecourse. See whose car finishes first.
- Water Skim Ball: Use the Wahu Super Grip Skim Ball to play catch or have a distance throwing competition.
- Ring Toss: Use BS Toys Ring Toss to host rounds of Ring Toss. Best of 3 for gold!
Step 3: Organize the Competition
- Create a Schedule: Plan out the order of events and the rules for each. Make sure to include breaks and time for refreshments.
- Warm-Up: Just like in the real Olympics, start with a warm-up session to get everyone ready. Get hearts and legs pumping with a good old fashioned running race to start the games off with a bang.
- Compete: Follow the schedule and compete in each event. Make sure to time each event and record the results.
- Award Ceremony: At the end of the competition, hold a mini award ceremony. Hand out medals or ribbons to the winners and celebrate everyone's participation.
Step 4: Have Fun!
The most important part of your Mini Olympics is to have fun! Encourage good sportsmanship, cheer for each other, and enjoy the spirit of the Olympics right in your own backyard. With a little creativity and a bit of help from Casey's Toys, you can create an unforgettable Mini Olympics at home. Gather your friends and family, set up your events, and let the games begin!
